This is a great and easy activity you can do with your kids or use to occupy them while you get other things done. I can’t take credit for this one. I had heard of parents and teachers using this activity before. At my house we get at least one large delivery box once every week or two. My kids usually turn it into some kind of fort, or garage, or cave. Yesterday I needed to get the dishes done, so we pulled out the cardboard box and the jumbo crayons, and she colored for the next 20 minutes. Later when I needed to start dinner, I pulled out the box again, and both my kids added more flare to the box.

How This Activity Went For Us
This was a great activity to occupy them with for a little while. It let them explore their creativity and also help them with his writing skills and her fine motor skills. Cardboard art was a great simple fun activity that I will be using again and again.

This post reminded me of the good old days. I also liked to do art with cardboards when I was a kid. It was fun!
