Simple Fun Activity: Puddle Hunt

This is such a simple idea, I’m almost reluctant to write about it, but it’s been so helpful to me, I feel like I have to share it.

My son has a pair of rainboots that he loves. I never thought about it before, but if you have kids that love to get messy, you want to invest in some rainboots. Whenever we have a really rainy day, my son puts on his boots and we go on a puddle hunt.

Items You Will Need For This Simple Fun

• Puddles
• Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

What Happened When We Did This Simple Fun Activity:

This little boy is so active, that we can’t waste a single day inside. You can’t really tell from the picture, but he’s got dirt on his face and he’s soaked all the way up to his pockets. Yes, he was very messy, and yes, we left half his clothes on the porch, but he’s smiling from ear to ear.
