Everyday about 30 minutes before I start dinner, my son hears the ice cream man. To him this means an opportunity for a sweet treat, to me it means right before dinner, his heart is now set on ice cream. This frozen banana based healthy treat has been the perfect substitute. What Happened When We Made Frozen Banana Ice Cream
This is a great alternative to regular ice-cream. Whether you’re trying to avoid sugar or dairy, this is a delicious treat. One thing I did notice when making this was the riper the banana before you freeze it, the sweeter it is. This recipe is also easily modified, so if you want to use a different sweetener or dairy or dairy substitute, go for it.
