This is a yummy and fun St. Patrick’s Day activity to do with your kids. The steps are so simple, my four year-old actually did a lot of it himself. This is also a very magical way to start the day.
Items You Will Need For This Simple Fun Activity:
- Sliced bread
- Eggs

Steps For This Simple Fun Activity:
- Whisk together two eggs, a splash of vanilla extract, a little bit of milk, and green food coloring.
- Soak a slice of bread in the mixture, making sure to soak both sides of the bread.
- Place in a lightly greased pan over medium high heat.
- Be sure to get both sides of the bread golden.
- Let the kids dress the toast with syrup, powdered sugar, and gold glitter sprinkles.
What Happened When We Did This
As you can see, my son was very heavy handed on the food coloring and the gold sprinkles, but he sure had a fun time doing this St. Patrick’s Day activity. I don’t use exact measurements in the steps, and this activity can be easily modified to what kind of bread, milk, eggs, or syrup you would like to use. St. Patrick’s Day French toast is a fun and easy was to start your March 17th.
