My kids love to play in the water. So we had a toy car wash. This is a simple fun activity I have used as a preschool teacher, as well as, a mom. Let me start by saying, this isn’t exclusively for toy cars. You can wash animals, dinosaurs, dolls, basically any toys that aren’t cloth or electronic.
Items You Will Need For This Simple Fun Activity:
- A container for washing
- Dish or hand soap
- Rags or sponges
- The toys that are being washed
Steps For This Simple Fun Activity:
- Add soap to the washing container (If you’re brave, you can let your kids do it)
- Add water to the washing container (Let your kids do this)
- Dump all the toys in
- Get out the rags or sponges and get messy
This Is What Happened When We Did This Simple Fun Activity:
My kids had tons of fun splashing around in the suds, the toy cars got a good cleaning, and while they were drying in the sun, my kids decided the big cars needed a good wash too. This activity lasted for almost two hours, we only stopped, because I had to start dinner.
This is a great simple fun activity is great inside or outside activity. Though it is less nerve-racking outside.
